It is an addictive sport. Once you get hooked on the jumps and the thrill of competing, you will not want to do anything else but to become a professional crossroad rider. That's alright because there is plenty of space for one more professional. That is why you need to consider starting off on a 80cc dirt bike. It will help you progress and get you to where you really want to be in your life.

The dirt road is calling once a gain and you need to suit up and get to your destination fast. It can be a dangerous sport if you do not follow the rules and guidelines set by the professionals in this industry. So before you even think of doing any crossroad activity, you need to get the basics down. You firstly need to address your gear.

Hence you need the right gear to do this and you need the right attitude to take you further than what you ever dreamed. Look at getting a well made leather outfit and boots, one which is preferably already padded on the inside. And the most important of all is a solid headgear. You need to be able to see through your visor and you need to know that when you take a knock, that your head is well protected.

Get to know your bike well. Inspect every space and know where the basics like your gas tank, brakes, throttle and so on are. Practice on your bike before you even think of entering any competitions. Many professionals will tell you that they started off watching others do their stuff.

Get some really good videos made by the professionals and learn how they do it. Copy their moves and once you are confident enough, go out to a dirt road which is deserted and where you can spin and jump and turn and fall in peace.

We all want to jump as soon as possible. Remember that in the beginning you will only manage a few feet off the ground, maybe two or so. That is cool because you first need to learn how to land. Once you have perfected your landing from a low height, then you gradually work your way up to the high jumps. It's all about jumping, but if you land incorrectly, you will take a fall which can be potentially dangerous.

So why is everyone flocking to buy this little marvel? The reasons are varied, like some would say it's the ultimate machine for really hard terrains that are mountainous, muddy and sometimes stupefyingly high. You need a bike which is manageable in these conditions which has tough tires and fitted with a top performing suspension. Whether you want a two stroke or a four stroke, is up to you, but know that the well built frame will help you get through a tough spot every time.

You might have guessed it. The whole experience revolves around the suspension. Here is where the distinction lies, and here is where you will immediately feel the comfort and agility she lends when you take her through her paces. With the higher than usual engine to counter for obstructions on the roads like boulders or rocks, you feel you can glide effortlessly over whatever terrain is put in your way.

These bikes are very fuel efficient and of course very lightweight. You can start a child as young as 5 years old off on them without much fuss. A 80cc dirt mike is a must for a newbie and can only get you addicted to the open air and fantastic people in this sport, while you are having fun.
